This nature cottage is a replica of a small house which was built around 1850 for the laborer on the land of the big farmer or landowner. He could keep a goat or cow and a vegetable garden. The cottage has a heat pump and underfloor heating. The cottage adjoins a water catchment area of Drents Landscape and a small piece of original bog is on the left side of the paved road. From the front door you can take a walk of over an hour around the water catchment area with boots on.
