The living room offers great views of the dyke and has an extra seating area by the gas fireplace, which can be seen from all angles. The large garden surrounding the house has a terrace and is partially fenced, perfect for outdoor activities. This former fisherman's house on the mud flats has been completely refurbished and modernised, making it a charming and comfortable place to live
A very special place that we are proud of, in the middle of the meadows with land and arable farming, next to the dike and the Wadden Sea. Enjoy nature here with beautiful light, peace, rhythm and regularity. You only have to run up the dike to enjoy the wide view. You can follow kilometres of existing walking and cycling routes across the dike. Good weather is not necessary here as the mudflats are always fantastic to be around and the house lovely and warm partly because of the large gas fireplace, in addition to the heating, which you can use all year round. A spacious garden that is half-fenced and in consultation with the neighbours can even be made completely fenced. Actually, the whole area around the house (the long dike and the Wadden Sea) is your backyard, where you can go crabbing, mudflat hiking or just dream away with the lovely view of the mudflats. Don't forget the fresh air here that instantly revives you. Entertainment is plentiful in nearby towns such as Harlingen, Franeker and Leeuwarden
