Six person vacation home near the water in Grou. Between the villages of Grou and Akkrum you will find this detached vacation home in the yard of a farmhouse. The vacation home has a simple but neat interior and is fully equipped. Nice large lawn in front of the door. At about 50 meters from the vacation house is a wide canal where you can go fishing or swimming.
This accommodation is only suitable for families with older children (14 years and older).
Layout The vacation home has a neat interior and is fully equipped . Living room with neat furniture and sliding doors to the terrace. Open kitchen which is fully equipped. Bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. Downstairs is the first bedroom and upstairs are the other bedrooms. Nice large lawn in front of the door. At about 50 meters from the house is a wide canal where with some regularity the boats sail by and where you can go swimming in the summer.
Surroundings: In the summer months it is pleasantly crowded with tourists in the nearby Frisian water sports village of Grou. Akkrum, located 2 km from the cottage, is a beautiful characteristic Frisian village with all kinds of facilities (including a supermarket, bakery, butcher, pubs and restaurants with terraces and a bank). You can enjoy cycling from your cottage in the beautiful watery surroundings or go really enjoy the water of, for example, the Pikmeer. Friesland offers beautiful waters. The Frisian cities Sneek and Leeuwarden (with some nice museums) are definitely worth a visit.
Pets and smoking are not allowed. Bicycles and boats can be rented in Grou or Akkrum (bicycle storage is available). It is a neat vacation home near two nice Frisian villages where you together or with your family can enjoy a wonderful vacation in Friesland.
