Near the port is the recreation area De Gouden Ham, with a 700-metre-long beach and various possibilities for water sports such as canoeing or sailing. The surrounding area offers numerous walking and cycling routes, along the river Maas, flowering fruit orchards and historic castles. Or book a cruise on the Meuse to discover the peaceful surroundings and landscape from the water
