Dit was mijn tweede keer in het chalet van Wildemansheerd, en het was weer net zo fijn als de week in mei. Het huisje is comfortabel, verzorgd en gezellig, en ook heerlijk licht. Ik kwam gedeeltelijk om te werken. Het is een prima werkplek, rustig, vanaf mijn stoel had ik uitzicht op de Juffertoren in Schildwolde. Tussendoor heb ik gefietst en gewandeld in het Roegwold en in de omgeving van het Schildmeer. Er valt altijd iets moois te zien: de wisselende luchten, het water en de rietboorden, en vooral de eindeloos vele vogels. Ook ben ik een dag naar Schiermonnikoog geweest. Dat valt goed te doen, van Schildwolde naar Lauwersoog is een klein uurtje rijden. Volgend jaar kom ik terug!

Chalet Wildemansheerd: een heerlijk en compleet vakantiehuis. Het is schoon en verzorgd. Vriendelijk welkom door de eigenaresse. Vanuit de woonkamer vrij uitzicht over de weilanden. In de omgeving is er veel te ontdekken: mooie dorpen, Bourtange, de stad Groningen, Borgen uit de 18e eeuw en nog veel meer.
