De Schaapskooi - 4 persons - 65m²

This cozy house is located on the outskirts of Leenderstrijp with a panoramic view over the countryside. Originally a sheepfold but now a tastefully decorated wooden house with modern furnishings. Small but nice applies here!

Living/dining room with comfortable seating area with TV, DVD and stereo and wood-burning stove.
Open kitchen with 4 gas burners, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer and coffee maker.
Storage room with washing machine, ironing board and iron.

Bedroom with double box-spring bed.
Bathroom with shower, toilet and sink.
There are 2 bathrobes available.

1st Floor
Videa (open sleeping area) with two single beds, accessible via a steep and open staircase.

Outside at the Schaapskooi

• A covered terrace with garden furniture at the back, accessible from the house.
• Garden with a lawn, a 2nd terrace with picnic table and deck chairs.
• Barbecue (excluding charcoal) and fire basket (including logs).
• Hottub or Dutchtub for rent (per day/weekend/midweek/week, this is rented from a company and is subject to availability)
• You have a wide view over the countryside and can even take your horse and let it graze in the adjacent meadow.

Peculiarities

• Information folder with hiking and cycling routes and possibilities for trips available.
• On arrival, the house is "ready to go": coffee, dishwasher tablets, garbage bags and toilet paper for the first few days.
• During your stay you can do fun activities such as hiking with a guide through nature, guided tour of the farmer, farmer's golf, rent a hot tub and much more. When booking you will be sent all the information.
• Extra night on request.

• Distance from Utrecht about 107 km
• Leenderstrijp with its 500 inhabitants is a real Brabant farming village with farms, a village pub, a chapel and fine dining in the vicinity. Sterksel is just below.
• Nature lovers can indulge in the Leenderbos, some 2500 ha of forests and heaths. There are beautiful hiking and biking trails and bridle paths. Looking for mushrooms, discovering birdsong or encountering deer at dusk. Every season has its charm.
• Bring a visit to abbey the Achelse Kluis or Castle Heeze, a national monument with a remarkable history. (Inquire about the possibilities for a guided tour)
