The Stalen Boshuis is located in a beautiful spot in Brabant, where you can enjoy hiking and cycling. The vacation home is luxurious and modern and made of cortens steel. The owners' passion for spatial design and art is carried through in all facets. Steel, concrete and glass were used in the architecture and interior design, combined with modern comfort. The result is surprising and unique and in harmony with the rural environment.

The house is located on the Bergvliet estate, which also includes an 18-hole golf course and the new luxury spa-wellness resort Spa One.The house is not part of the recreational park Bergvliet villas, but is a private house and is located on a different part of the estate.

The large windows provide a beautiful view of the terrace and the rural surroundings. From the house you can take beautiful hiking and biking trips across the Vrachelse heath. On the golf course is also a restaurant where you can go for a drink, lunch or dinner.And do you want to explore the area? The Burgundian city of Breda is about 10 minutes by car, the Efteling or a boat trip in the Biesbosch National Park are also nearby.

Holiday home Steel Forest House - 4 persons - 200 m²

You enter the house through a key safe.
The entire house is ground floor, no thresholds and has a cast floor with underfloor heating.

Interior
Entrance with checkroom and toilet.
The living room has a modern decor with modern furniture such as a lounge sofa, gas fireplace, widescreen TV, music system (music channels and play via smartphone). Over the entire length is a glass front and the living room is very light. In fine weather, the doors can be opened.

Open kitchen with large concrete worktop, induction hob, dishwasher, small fridge freezer, microwave/oven, Nespresso machine (bring your own cups) and kettle. Wooden dining table with 4 chairs.

Bedroom with double bed, safe and closet space.
In the bedroom there is a bathtub, around the corner is a room with walk-in (rain) shower and double sink.

Apart toilet.
At the entrance is the 2nd bedroom.
This has a twin bed (single mattresses and comforters) and hanging/ laying space for your clothes.

Outdoors at the Steel Forest House

• Finnish sauna (wood available and fee). Wood from forest not allowed.
• Front and side terrace,
• The front terrace is adjacent to the kitchen, also here the sliding doors can be opened and it is nice in the morning in the sun, there are 2 chairs.
• The 2nd terrace is adjacent to the living room, in fine weather, the glass doors can be opened and you have a wonderful outdoor feeling.
• On the terrace is a concrete dining table with concrete seating and 2 sun loungers. There is also a steel outdoor (sun) bath and outdoor shower for hot days.
• A part of the garden is bordered by natural (sun) protection of cortens steel and willows, which can be slid open to enlarge the garden.
• Only electric barbecue allowed (bring your own).

Special features

• The house is located in a wooded area so you experience nature up close. It is equipped with every possible luxury, but Mother Nature also provides sounds from the forest, insects in or around the house and blades of grass between the tiles.
• Children are welcome, however, there are no facilities for children in the house (no toys or children's crockery, no cot and high chair).
• I.v.m. the peace and quiet, the house is not rented to young people.
• Small playground at the restaurant of the estate (1 minute walking distance).
• Next to the Steel Forest House is the Concrete Forest House and the new Wooden Forest House with hot tub. Each house is on its own plot and sleeps 4 people. The houses are not part of the recreation park Bergvliet Villas.
• This location may not be used for parties, photo, film or video recordings or other commercial purposes without consultation. For violation, a fine of € 3000 per day will be charged.

• Distance from Utrecht approx. 62 km.
• Centre of Oosterhout approx. 5km, a supermarket approx. 2 km.
• Landgoed Bergvliet has an 18-hole golf course and a par 3 course, there is also a restaurant and bar.
• The new wellness resort Spa One (3 minutes' walk from the Steel Forest House) is also located on Bergvliet Estate, just opened and the most sustainable and environmentally friendly wellness complex in the Southern Netherlands with saunas, whirlpools and pools.
• At a 5-minute walk you will find 2 good restaurants: Eten en drinken bij Groen and Houtse Meer.
• For bread, pastries, coffee, lunch and catered meals, visit de Jong-DELI , about 5 minutes by car.
• From home you can walk straight into nature, the wooded surroundings of the Vrachelse Heide lends itself perfectly to mountain bikers, cyclists and hikers. Also on the Loonse and Drunense Dunes you can enjoy strolling in the wild shifting sand area.
• The Liberation Route Brabant tells the story of the liberation, but also shows what the Second World War has meant for ordinary Brabanders. In Oosterhout there are memorial poles at various locations that tell stories in the footsteps of the liberators.
• The Zuidwaterlinie was one of the most important Dutch defense lines 450 years ago. The Zuiderwaterlinie is the oldest, longest and most used of all Dutch water lines and runs through Brabant and Oosterhout. In several places you can see the history such as The Line of Den Hout, the Slotbosse Toren and the Zuidwaterlinie Wandelpad.
