In the old days, when there were no hospitals, every larger farm had an Luchthus. TB was a common disease then, and one put the patient in an extremely comfortable cottage, with only a bed, some reading and large French doors. This cottage was on wheels so that it could be turned to face the sun. From old building materials from our country house we constructed another such cottage, facing the morning sun and yes: it sleeps superbly! Simple, a real hiking cabin with lots of books to read and a wonderful bed.
