There are five double rooms in the haystack for up to 15 people. Each room has a kitchenette, TV, wifi, sitting area and private bathroom with bath and/or shower plus toilet. In the immediate vicinity there are bike/walking trails and the location right on the water offers the possibility of a whisper boat ride. Edam/Volendam/Marken and Amsterdam within cycling distance!

We, Piet and Paula Kalverboer, have a dairy farm in addition to our B&B/Group accommodation. Piet can be found in the barn every day milking and feeding his cows. In spring it is a busy time with the lambs being born. He also plays music with the Gouwzeekapel, where he plays the big drum.
Paula is active in the board of Hotel de Boerenkamer and has a hobby of swimming and gymnastics. She keeps the books for the entire company and takes care of three (almost grown-up) children.
