Nice houseboat with great views from the roof terrace

This is the only houseboat with a roof terrace at this location in Uitgeest. From the terrace you have a beautiful and clear view over the Uitgeestermeer. During the boating season there is a lot to do, both in the harbor and on the lake. Surfers, sailors, suppers and canoeists come and go. You can rent a boat at the reception and explore the area. Take a day trip to the Zaanse Schans for example. Along the way there are nice places to stop for an ice cream or lunch.

The houseboat has 2 cosy bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and toilet and a cosy living room with an open kitchen. In the kitchen you will find a Nespresso machine for the best coffee. Everything is available to cook a nice meal. Don't feel like doing the dishes? Within walking distance you will find several nice restaurants in the harbor and in the center of Uitgeest.

The houseboat was completed in 2021 and allows you to fully experience what happens in and around the marina and on the Uitgeestermeer. In addition to the roof terrace with wooden benches, you will also find a back deck with table and chairs. A nice place to start the day with a delicious breakfast. Please be aware of limited WIFI signal in this houseboat.

In the vicinity is much to do. The park is located near the sea and beach, nice towns like Volendam and Monnickendam on the Markermeer and the major cities of Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam. The park is easily accessible via the highway and Schiphol Airport is also nearby. In the harbor are a bistro and brasserie, as well as a bike and boat rental. From here you can cycle and sail to nice places on the Uitgeestermeer or a little further away, such as the North-Holland Dune Reserve.

For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
Because of the peace and quiet and possible neighbours, noise nuisance is not allowed/prohibited in this holiday home
COVID-19 Conditions:

- 2 weeks before arrival we assess the travel situation. If it appears that in the 2 weeks before arrival new measures will be taken, we will wait for the official announcement. We have chosen for a standard of 2 weeks before arrival, because the situation is very unstable at the moment.

- We will refund your money in the event of a ban on entering the region where the holiday home you have booked is located.

- If we are going to rebook your holiday in another period, we will ensure that the amount already paid (in advance) is transferred to the new booking. Possible settlements will also take place immediately.

- If we have to cancel your holiday, you will receive your money back on your account within one week.



So you can book your holiday with us without worries. In case Villa for You can deliver the holiday but you want to cancel, the standard cancellation conditions apply.



- For each every guest, not having a 'Corona passport' (European digital COVID certificate)at the moment this is required to travel to the concerning destination or to stay in the holiday home, is not a valid reason to cancel free of charge.

- Despite the Corona passport, each country remains responsible for setting its own entry requirements and rules, which are not standardised at EU level. This means that in addition to the Corona passport, additional rules may apply to your stay, such as the validity period of your vaccination or the requirement for an additional (booster) vaccination. These extra rules are also not a valid reason for cancelling your stay free of charge.

- Quarantine measures are also not a valid reason to cancel free of charge. Villa for You states (based on the information currently available) that it is possible for everyone to meet the requirements for travelling.



Villa for You is not responsible for unavoidable or extraordinary circumstances before or during your booked holiday period as a result of (adjusted) Corona measures, unless these measures are about a ban on entry in the region where the holiday home you have booked is located.
