In the beautiful village of Giethoorn you will find this spacious group accommodation located on an island on the Bovenwijde. The nature reserve the Weerribben-Wieden invite you for water activities such as sailing, supping or canoeing. The accommodation has six wooden sailing punters, which you can use during your stay. Besides water sports, it is also a beautiful area for hiking and cycling. Stroll through the village over the bridges and explore the beautiful Dutch Venice or take a hiking trail through the Weerribben-Wieden National Park. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area to have a cup of coffee and enjoy the boats sailing around through Giethoorn's canals. If you are staying in Giethoorn in August, visit the Gondola Parade that takes place at the end of August where decorated gondolas sail through the canals.
The group accommodation is suitable for 46 persons. The accommodation is located on the water and can only be reached by boat. There is a spacious dining room furnished with tables and chairs and some benches. This can be used as a dining room, but also as a recreation room. The accommodation has central heating and there is free wifi. There is a large kitchen that includes a gas stove, oven, freezer, refrigerator, workbench, kitchenette, dishwasher, serving cart, filter coffee maker, kettle, deep fryer, pans, utensils and microwave. There is also a pantry with glasses, cups, mugs, cutlery, lemonade and thermos jugs. There are six showers and five toilets and one urinal.Layout dormitoriesThere are two smaller rooms both with bunk beds.The two dormitories are both furnished with 10 or 11 bunk beds. So in total there are 46 sleeping places. There is one crib, two high chairs and a playpen available.OutsideRound the accommodation are picnic tables and a playing field. In addition, here is also the associated boathouse and the jetties for the six wooden sailing punters that belong to the accommodation. You can use these punters during your stay.
