Romantic camping on the farm

On this Saxon farm in Twente is 'farmed' for generations, since a few years you can also stay overnight. For lovers of the outdoors there are luxury safari lodge tents and star cubes. That means waking up in the morning in the company of Brand red cattle, relaxing in the countryside and living according to the rhythm of the day...

On the farm there are 9 farm rooms. On the grounds behind the farm are the lodge tents and star cubes.
The heart of the farm is the barn, where the cows used to be, here is now an atmospheric meeting space created with a homely decoration. Around the fireplace is a comfortable seating area. There is also a large reading table and bar.
On Saturdays a table d'hôte is served in the 'Veurkamer', which used to be the Sunday room. You will then enjoy culinary regional dishes and meat from our own stables. For groups of 8 persons or more, a table d'hôte can also be arranged on other days.
Walking distance from the observatory, near the historic town of Ootmarsum, you can enjoy plenty of walking and cycling.

Twin lodge tent - 2 persons

The canvas lodge tents are located in a field behind the farmhouse overlooking the surrounding meadows. They are comfortably furnished and have private bathroom facilities.

Interior
The twin lodge tent is smaller than the 4-person tent. There is a sitting area and kitchenette with 2-burner stove, running water, refrigerator, kettle, Senseo and crockery.
There is a four-poster bed, wooden bathtub and toilet.

Specialities

• The lodge tents are on a bed and breakfast basis, breakfast can be provided.
• In the grounds there is a swing, trampoline, sandpit and tumbling frame. Bicycle rental possible.
• In the part, where once the cows stood, is now a cozy meeting space created with a homely decor. Around the fireplace is a comfortable seating area. There is a large reading table and bar.
• 4-Course table d'hôte (on Saturdays) in the 'Veurkamer', which used to be the Sunday room. You will then enjoy culinary regional dishes and meat from our own stables. For groups of 8 persons or more, a table d'hôte can also be arranged on other days. 3-course surprise menu on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
