Holiday property - visserswoning (1906)
Zeeland • Noord-Beveland • Colijnsplaat
It concerns an authentic, recently renovated fisherman's house from 1906.
Located at one of the main streets, in a protected village.
Authentic elements such as ancient wooden and stone floors, a space saver stair, ancient pine ceiling beams and a proper box bed (2 m x 1,20) contribute to the special holiday atmosphere of this house.
The children's beds on the attic are built as ship beds, giving an extra ancient touch to the charming house.
The house is centrally heated, there is cold and hot water, the shower has a Grohe thermostatic mixer tap.
All beds have anti-allergic duvets.
The back yard can be entirely closed with a gate, to secure the safety of the children.
For many years now our guests keep on mentioning the charming atmosphere of the house in our guest book.
The environment is especially characterized with peace and quiet: Colijnsplaat is located in the national park Oosterschelde.
You are only a few walking minutes away from the picturesque, ancient shopping street (450 years old!)
In the surroundings of the Oosterschelde, there is plenty of water, walking and cycling facilities and tracks. Golf courses and tennis courts are close by as well.
In case of bad weather there are: indoor swimming pools, waterland Neeltje Jans, sports and leisure facilities.
The village is famous far beyond the borders because of the 'miracle' that took place during the flood disaster, also described in the book "houwen jongens".
The Oosterschelde, the marina, fish auction or the beach at the Oosterschelde are all reachable within a couple of walking minutes.
This authentic fisherman's house can be rented all year long.
Price per night (not per person) starts at 90 euro.
A ANWB rental contract is used.
Linen needs to be brought along.
Breakfast service can be arranged in the village.
