Apartment Kluut:

In 2007 we bought the old steam pumping station Schouwen which was built in 1876 and had an extension on the sides in 1905 for technical rooms. In the right part of the building (if you stand in front of it) we have built a beautiful 4 person vacation apartment. The finish is modern and equipped with every comfort.

Because this is an old industrial building, we have kept the renovation in the style of “then” with authentic details. For example, the switchgear in the house is really from grandmother's time. Yet we have not compromised on the modern comforts that our guests desire. So….a beautiful kitchen with all the built-in appliances necessary : gas stove, electric combi microwave with hot air oven. A dishwasher and large refrigerator with freezer. Ample crockery and of course cooking utensils to prepare your own meals is available.

Layout apartment Kluut

The layout of the apartment is as follows: Entrance on the side right next to the parking of your car…so no lugging stuff, groceries children etc. The living room has a very high ceiling… actually no ceiling but you look against the insulated roof deck with the beam layer still in sight. On the first floor is a bedroom for 2 persons with beautiful views over the plan Tureluur.

The bathroom is modern and functional. With a shower floor with modern tiling, a free hanging toilet as well as a (small!!) sink.

On the mezzanine are two more beds which thus overlook the living room… very cozy! The bedding consists of a standard booking…. under fitted sheet, and 4 x 1 person comforter, 4x pillow. Of course there are extra comforters for the colder period… which you can use yourself. If you want to rent towels, then of course this can be discussed with us in advance. Always good to call 06-42759640 in case you have additional questions or wishes, much is possible.

So… conveniently just download it and you have a perfect idea of the apartments, surroundings, layout, where the stores are, beaches etc etc. So… a must have for a nice vacation in Gemaal Schouwen. Details:

– high chair
– children's lifejacket

Pets:

Unfortunately, area around Gemaal Schouwen is not suitable for bringing your PETS. They are NOT PERMITTED, You wonder why… well now… the lodgings are located in a National Park, there is breeding season from March to August for protected and endangered bird species, our chickens run loose… and the other guests might find it annoying if your darling pet annoys them.


Our rates include the following. We do not like to charge extra later, we do not like that ourselves when we go on vacation. So. price is price! including the following items:

... so only bring food, clothes and towels.

Yes ... coffee filters available ... salt from previous tenant is always there ... toilet paper for the first days.... use washing machine and detergent no problem! Ehhh not for 8 weeks the laundry of course :) Possibility to rent bikes just call
