Lodge Tureluur:
an the back of the property we built a beautiful 4 person vacation apartment in early 2015, and call it Lodge Tureluur. This beautiful space has a view over the water behind and the nature reserve Plan Tureluur, which is part of the National Park Oosterschelde.In 2007 we bought the old steam pumping station Schouwen that was built in 1876 and in 1905 on the sides got an extension for technical rooms

Finishing

Because this is an old industrial building, we kept the renovation in the style of “that time” with authentic details. For example, the switchgear in the house is really from grandmother's time. Yet we have not compromised on the modern comforts that our guests desire. So….a beautiful kitchen with all the built-in appliances necessary : gas stove, electric combi microwave with hot air oven. A dishwasher and large refrigerator with freezer. Ample crockery and of course cooking utensils to prepare your own meals is available.

Layout Lodge Tureluur

The layout of the apartment is as follows:

Entrance at the rear of the property. (You park your car in the parking lot and walk past Apartment Kluut on the right side of the building if you are in front of it) On the day of arrival we arrange that you can unload close to your vacation destination ;so no lugging with stuff, groceries, children etc. Through a shell path you come to the rear of the property, and with a small staircase … on the approx 40 m2 hardwood terrace with the beautiful view. Upon entering you are directly in a room which gives access to the living room, kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom. Yes… the layout is really special…. feel free to look closely at the pictures to get a good impression.

The living room furnished with chairs, blanket chest for the cushions of the garden chairs, comfortable sofa, smart TV, internet WIFI, kitchen with all appliances that should be there: dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, plenty of crockery and cutlery, In short… for the kitchen prince or princess certainly worth your cooking skills in the vacation to let loose. The dining area is situated on the window side of the lodge, so you can enjoy the setting sun in the evening… and in the morning you can see the cows passing by during breakfast. Ehhhh in nice weather of course everything outside! Garden chairs, cushions and long dining table are provided!

The bedrooms :
One bedroom is located on the left side of the entrance and one on the right. The left is equipped with 2 beds which can be placed side by side or … separated, lockable with a door. The other bedroom is slightly more spacious and is mostly used as a master bedroom when we have guests with children. Bedding in a standard booking consists…. under fitted sheet, and 4 x single comforter, 4x pillow. Of course there are extra comforters for the colder period… which you can pack yourself.

The bathroom:
This is in country style with “old-fashioned” toilet, spacious shower and stone sink. As a mirror we have a cozy cabinet hung… always easy for medicines. Of course, a large dressing mirror is not missing. For your safety, we have the ability to use the hairdryer not in the bathroom fitted, there are plenty of sockets in the lodge.If you want to rent towels, then of course in advance with us to discuss. Pets:

Unfortunately, area around Gemaal Schouwen is not suitable for bringing your PETS. They are NOT PERMITTED, You wonder why… well now… the lodgings are located in a National Park, there is breeding season from March to August for protected and endangered bird species, our chickens are running loose… and the other guests might find it annoying if your darling pet is a nuisance to them.



Our rates include the following. We do not like to charge extra later, we do not like that ourselves when we go on vacation. So. price is price! including the following items:

Yes ... coffee filters available ... salt from previous tenant is always there ... toilet paper for the first days.... use washing machine and detergent no problem! Ehhh not for 8 weeks the laundry of course :) Possibility to rent bikes just call
