The surroundings are perfect for taking nice walks and long bike rides through the woods, dunes and along the historic villages and towns, such as Scharendijke, Renesse, Noordwelle, Ellemeet and Burgh-Haamstede. The nearby nature reserves, such as the Grevelingen, Plan Tureluur, De Schelphoek and the Oosterschelde are beautiful and well worth exploring. The large North Sea beach is only twelve kilometers away, on a bike you will get there in no time!
