Aardenburg is a cozy and historic town, it is surrounded by a vast landscape of dikes, polders and creeks which has been formed by centuries of floods, reclamations and dike breaches and increasing agricultural activity. Because these features are clearly visible everywhere, it has been declared a National Landscape. Needless to say, it is a fantastic environment for taking long bike rides and beautiful walks. This accommodation is also an excellent base for a day trip to Belgium to visit, for example, Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp or the fashionable Knokke.
