The family campground Scheldoord on the outskirts of the village attracts many people to the area every year. After all, you're right on the water here. Just across the dike at Baarland is the Westerschelde. Despite Zeeland being a tourist attraction, this chalet is on the quiet side of Zeeland.

From the chalet it is a short walk and you are already on the sea dike. Behind it is directly the beautiful Westerschelde and Scheldestrandje, a small but nice family beach! Only when you stand on the sea dike itself do you see all the beauty behind it! Enjoy the space around you and the beautiful view over the water. It is quiet and always clear, even in high season. For example, it is a large playground for the children, where they can play in the sand and mud. You can fly kites, catch crabs, go fishing, walk on the mud flats, kite surf, walk and cycle outside the dikes.
